Drive system

The L-TEC is a self-propelled lift. The control system, electric drive system and all safety devices are installed
in the cabin. The L-TEC Outdoorlift travels along a track consisting of two fixed rails that can be laid very close to ground level. Conductor lines and two independent
current collectors provide a stable, central power supply to the cabin.

Transmission errors that can occur in other systems due to the long distances between the control system and the drive system are eliminated in the L-TEC Outdoorlift. All along the route, a central ball chain is securely attached in between the rails. The drive wheel and counter wheel of the L-TEC Outdoorlift engage positively with the spherical links in this chain to move the cabin in the required direction of travel. For the first time, an outdoor lift can negotiate curves without difficulty at the same time as different inclines along the route - all thanks to this unique drive system. A special plastic coating on the driving wheels ensures low-noise operation and reduces wear.

Cabin

In designing the cabin, we focused on two things above all else: Quality and safety. At the same time, we wanted to make the lift appear as lightweight and transparent as possible. The aim was to make passengers feel part of their surroundings. Rather than constituting an additional structure on your property, the L-TEC Outdoorlift takes the contemporary approach of simply blending in with what's already there. It was also important to us that provided visible added value.

Large windows and wide doors that can be easily and fully opened bear witness to this as do the clearly arranged ergonomic controls and the attractive color scheme. Generously sized handrails provide support for wheelchair users, ensuring easy and safe access to and from the lift.

The central power supply in the cabin means that all kinds of special equipment can be installed or retrofitted. It provides for easy integration of heating systems, ventilation, music or electric powered doors. The controls required for servicing are securely installed in the lockable switch cabinet underneath an elegantly styled cover on the rear side of the lift. The L-TEC Outdoorlift blends in aesthetically with the natural surroundings.

Stopping points

The L-TEC Outdoorlift can be programmed to call at up to 45 stopping points. Each station is equipped with a pillar-mounted calling device. This can be equipped with all the latest available systems for calling lifts - by button, key, intercom or cell phone.
One of the stops can be specified as the starting position, to which the lift automatically returns after a specified idle time has elapsed.

Track

The track consists of two tubular profiles which are securely connected to one another and anchored to the ground at 3 meter intervals. Measuring 600 mm wide and just 200 mm high, it can be laid very close to ground level. We use a special anchoring technology to construct the track foundation.

Unlike other concrete foundations in widespread use, these anchorages do not involve major structural work during installation of the system. The only requirement is that the ground is stable. There is also the option of heating the track during the cold season.
